Our favorite meal to eat out is Breakfast and we thought we should list a few of our favorites in case you are ever in an area where we discovered a gem.   Will add to this as we find new ones.

Arizona:

Wild Berry, Mesa

    Local Mesa restaurant that serves good food at a good price.  This is Dave’s go to place for breakfast at least every other week while we are in Mesa.

Gilbert House, Gilbert

    Really a great place to visit - we always try and eat in the back bedroom.   A tad expensive but well worth it.

Crackers and Company, Mesa

    Good breakfast (and lunch) place.  Usually stop at least once while in Mesa.

T.C. Egginton, Mesa

    Great Breakfast on the West edge of Mesa just south of US 60.  Well worth the drive!

Cozy Corner Cafe, Mesa

    Located in Strip Mall on McKellips/Reicher, this is a small place with good food and prices.

California

Elmer’s, Palm Springs

    This is an Oregon chain that has one restaurant in California in Palm Springs.   For someone from the NW it is a taste of heaven.

Pete’s Breakfast House, Ventura

   Good breakfast, even had a “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives” filmed here in 2011.

Cape Fear Cafe, Duncans Mills

  Had a wonderful Mother’s Day breakfast - Smoked Salmon, Capers, & Brie Omelet.   Definitely worth a stop even if it is out of the way.

Oregon

Elmer’s, Roseburg and Gresham

    We were delighted to find these close to where we were staying.   Lots of them in Oregon.

Washington

Judy’s Country Kitchen, Centralia

    Always a must go when we stop to visit in Centralia.

Berry Fields, Centralia

    Another one of our must stops when we are visiting in the area.

Farm House Restaurant, Mt. Vernon

    Always take Barb’s mom out for breakfast here at least once while we are visiting.  

Joy’s Sedro-Woolley Bakery and Cafe

    Great place for breakfast anytime they are open.  Large portions and friendly service.

Miller House, Elma

   Nice small restaurant/catering business and they do a great Cinnamon Roll French Toast.  Have to try it.
