We are enjoying the effects of the solar snow prevention in effect through the southwest this month. While the rest of the country is facing blizzards, etc., we have had to endure 75° days and mid 40s at night. We had to put the awning out to provide shade and the Christmas decorations just don’t look quite right in the bright sunshine. It is a rough life, but we are doing our part to stimulate the economy in this part of the country as well as keeping ourselves warm.
We have spent the past ten days in Casa Grande, Arizona at the Western Horizons Desert Shadows RV Resort. We stop here because we kind of like Casa Grande. It is very laid back and a good place to do nothing, which is what we’ve done. I’ve been playing with the iPad that Megan and Kenneth gave us before we left Dallas and Dave has been relaxing. We’ve shopped a little, ate out a few times, visited with people in the park, and just relaxed.
Today we decided to really venture out and do a little geocaching.
The next one is kind of tricky:
Can you see it - it is right there staring at you!
For our third cache, we were back to the church where cache #1 above originally was located. This one was really a stumper - but finally Dave realized that there was a very large cover, with dirt on it, for a sprinkler system when everything else was much smaller - - sure enough, that’s where it was located.
